 Country SpiceCountry Spice was formed by Dalice Wilcox in July 2001. The members are: Dalice Wilcox - Band Leader, Bass Guitarist, Lead and Harmony Vocals. Lucille Street - Keyboards, Lead and Harmony Vocals. Dan Harmon - Lead Guitar, Lead and Harmony Vocals. Billy Yarborough - Drums!! Country Spice offers a variety of country music. The band members not only share a gift of talent but also a very strong love for one another and their fans. Their harmony is their greatest asset! | Dalice Wilcox Dalice started playing synthesizer with her mother in another band in 2000. Dalice formed Country Spice in July of 2001. She later accomplished learning the bass guitar and has been playing it for four years. Dalice has the capacity to play some very difficult music, and plays quite well. Dalice is the lead singer of the band and also sings harmony! She has a charisma as well with the public. Dalice has a love and loyalty for Country music that shows in her singing ability and her presence. Dalice has a natural ability to make her co- musicians feel very good about themselves and is a very compasssionate bandleader. | Billy GlennBilly plays with Country Spice occasionally. Billy started playing guitar at age 16. He started playing professionally at the age of 21 in Alaska, six nights a week, for 2 years. He played in a house band for 8 years and opened for stars like Ferlin Husky, Rose Maddox, Boxcar Willy, Jimmy Van Zandt, and the Lynrd Skynrd Revival. He played on the road for several years traveling around Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. He played in the immediate Roseburg and surrounding area since the late 80’s with several different bands like Timberland Express, Buzzsaw, Sonny Boy and the Real McCoys, Driftwoods, Rebel Rose Band, Marshal Law Band, Luney Tunes Band, Michael Fowler Band, and now bringing 31 years of experience to Country Spice and loving every minute of it. | Lucille Street Lucille started playing piano at the age of nine. She started playing professionally for the public by the time she was thirteen. She organized her first band at sixteen. She has played up and down the West Coast for many years. She has played opening shows for top artists such as: Mo Bandy, George Strait, Lee Greenwood, Rose Maddox, and several others. Lucille shared her love of music with her four small children. She started playing with her youngest child when (Dalice Wilcox) formed Country Spice in 2001. Lucille has been playing in the Roseburg area most of her life. She is greatly admired by many for her superb keyboard playing. | Billy YarboroughBilly started playing with Country Spice in October of 2003. He has been playing drums since the age of six. He started playing professionally at the age of seventeen. He has worked with several local musicians. He has played for Preston Wells, Lee Wade, Wade Douthitt, and several others. Billy has a phenomenal amount of talent as a drummer, and is an excellent assest to Country Spice. Billy has also started sharing his vocal ability with the band. We have learned he is quite the singer/harmony singer performing songs such as Keep Your Hand To Yourself & Gimme Three Steps! | Alan WilcoxAlan is a very important asset to Country Spice. He loads, sets up, and unloads the equipment for each and every one of Country Spice's performances. He also controls the sound system. Alan also has a great vocal talent, which adds variety to Country Spice. He is very loved and appreciated by each and every member of Country Spice. | Dan HarmonDan joined Country Spice in February 2008. Dan is an excellent singer, singing songs from country to classic rock. He brings a variety to Country Spice that is greatly appreciated. Dan learned to play guitar in his early childhood. His father was his teacher and someone Dan admired very much. Dan has no prior experience playing in bands, but came to the area four years ago and has been playing jam sessions and helping out different bands when they are short a guitar player. Dan is an excellent musician, catching on to songs just by listening to them. Dan has the capacity to play anything! We are so so fortunate to have found him. He is our guitar player who fell out of the sky. We all love him and his family very much! |
